Job Specification: Reach and Counterbalance Driver

Location: Leighton Buzzard

Position: Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team in Leighton Buzzard. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating both reach and counterbalance forklifts to safely move, locate, relocate, and stack products in a busy warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate reach and counterbalance forklifts to perform loading and unloading of goods.
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of forklift equipment.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and maintenance of forklift trucks.
  • Accurately pick and prepare goods for dispatch and delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of warehouse organization and cleanliness.
  • Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with inventory control and stock management.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and management.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Reach and Counterbalance Forklift License (essential).
  • Proven experience operating reach and counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse management systems is an advantage.
