Senior Python Developer

Location: Addison, Texas/Charlotte, North Carlonia (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to build and maintain document capture applications. The ideal candidate will have a background in software engineering, with experience in building Machine Learning Models and utilizing DevOps processes. This role involves working within the financial services industry on an agile project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy enterprise applications for document management processes, including OCR and Deep Learning.
• Manage logging, caching, transaction management, multi-threading/concurrency, performance tuning, and monitoring of applications.
• Create and maintain design documentation using UML.
• Utilize DevOps processes for building and deploying applications.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with the team in a fast-paced project environment.
• Develop, review, and provide feedback on written technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a developer in Python technologies, including machine learning.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and machine learning.
• Experience with building and deploying enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of document management processes including OCR and Deep Learning.
• Experience in application performance tuning and monitoring.
• Familiarity with DevOps processes and tools.
• Experience with UML for design documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of agile project methodologies.
• Process-oriented and detail-oriented work habits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
