Senior Data Engineer - Patch & Vulnerability Management
Location: Birmingham/Hybrid
Salary: £60,000-£70,000 + benefits

We are working with a global technology leader to find a Data Engineer to join a large-scale technology environment and support the development of data and reporting solutions across Patch Management and Vulnerability Management.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Data Engineer who enjoys working with complex datasets and turning technical data into meaningful operational, risk and executive-level insight.

The Role

You'll design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and reporting solutions, bringing together information from multiple technology and security platforms.

You'll be responsible for:

• Designing and developing scalable data pipelines.

• Integrating data from multiple technology and security platforms.

• Developing automated operational, risk and KPI reporting.

• Supporting executive-level reporting and dashboards.

• Ensuring data quality, accuracy, lineage and traceability.

• Developing and maintaining data models.

• Working with Vulnerability Management, Operations, Engineering and Technology teams.

• Translating business requirements into effective technical reporting solutions.

• Supporting governance forums with trend analysis and risk insight.

• Identifying opportunities for reporting automation and process improvement.

• Maintaining reporting standards and technical documentation.

• Supporting regulatory and internal audit requirements.

What We're Looking For

You'll need 9+ years' experience within data engineering, BI, reporting or analytics.

Strong experience across:

• SQL

• Data modelling

• ETL/data integration

• Data engineering

• Reporting platforms

• Dashboard development

• Business Intelligence

Experience with Power BI, SAP BusinessObjects, Tableau or similar would be highly desirable.

Knowledge of IT Operations, Cyber Security, Vulnerability Management or Patch Management would be a strong advantage.
