Senior Staff Nurse & Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) Opportunities
Priory Hospital - Bristol

Priory Hospital Bristol has opportunities for Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) and Senior Staff Nurses with active NMC registration to join our nursing teams across the hospital.

We provide specialist inpatient mental health services for people with a range of complex needs. Our teams deliver person-centred, evidence-based care across a range of services, working collaboratively to support patients throughout their recovery.

Current opportunities include:

Senior Staff Nurse - Rehab & Recovery : £39,392–£41,953
Senior Staff Nurse – Mixed Acute Ward : £39,392–£41,953
RMN – Acute : £36,176–£38,596
RMN – Male PICU : £36,176–£38,596
Part-Time RMN – Private Addictions : 23 hours per week : £22,188–£23,672 pro rata (£36,176–£38,596 FTE)
Located just 5 minutes from Bristol Parkway train station and 10 minutes from Bristol Temple Meads, the hospital is also easily accessible from across the wider South West, Wales and London via the nearby motorway network.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be part of a compassionate and experienced multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, person-centred care to patients with a range of mental health needs.

You’ll assess, plan, deliver and evaluate individualised care plans, acting as a named nurse and responding proactively to changes in patients’ needs.

You’ll also:

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective and recovery-focused care.
Support patients’ families and carers.
Use your clinical judgement to prioritise and delegate workload effectively.
Maintain high standards across safeguarding, medicines management and the Mental Capacity Act.
Work in line with the NMC Code and Priory policies.
Take part in clinical supervision, reflective practice and ongoing professional development.
Support newly qualified nurses through preceptorship.

Essential

Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration.
Completed preceptorship programme.
