The Role

• Manage the operational processing of imports and exports for the Kassel site.
• Provide support to other locations, involving 1-2 trips per month.
• Process customs declarations using ZODIAK software.
• Compile and verify necessary business and transport documentation.
• Issue Carnet ATS.
• Obtain required certificates, such as certificates of origin, preference certificates, or supplier declarations.
• Communicate with freight forwarders and express/courier service providers to issue dispatch orders.

What You'll Need

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or comparable qualification with relevant further education.
• Several years of professional experience in customs and foreign trade.
• Good knowledge of customs and foreign trade law.
• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, SAP GTS, and customs software is desirable.
• Ideally, English language skills at C1 level.
• A valid driver's license (Class B).
• A reliable and independent work style.
• Ability to provide a police clearance certificate due to legal requirements.
