Workforce/Staffing Manager

Touchstone Communities is seeking a Workforce/Staffing Manager to lead workforce planning and scheduling for our senior living and long-term care communities. Reporting to Human Resources & Talent Management, this role optimizes staffing levels for nursing and care teams, ensuring compassionate, high-quality resident care while meeting regulatory and budget requirements. You will analyze labor metrics, reduce overtime and agency use, support recruitment and retention, and collaborate closely with facility leaders. Responsibilities

• Lead workforce planning and scheduling for nursing and care teams across communities
• Optimize staffing levels to meet resident care standards and regulatory requirements
• Partner with HR and operations leaders to forecast labor needs and manage budgets
• Analyze staffing metrics, overtime, and agency usage; recommend improvements
• Support talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention initiatives
• Ensure compliance with healthcare staffing and labor regulations
• Collaborate with leadership to align staffing plans with census and acuity changes
• Provide staffing reports and insights to facility and corporate leadership
