Project Manager

Required Skills:

A thorough knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of project management related to developing interdepartmental programs and services within complex system applications;

A thorough knowledge of the planning, requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases of the SDLC and the ability to apply them within a large-scale integrated health and human service system

The ability to research and prepare reports, process flows, business requirements and recommendations for dissemination

A thorough knowledge of, and the ability to, evaluate the operational and system impact of stakeholders and to understand their demands and needs for information about the department's programs and objectives

The ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders

Related capacities and abilities.


Education and Experience:

Education: Such as may have been gained through possession of a bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Public Administration, Business Administration or a related field.

Experience: Such as may have been gained through considerable employment in a highly responsible position involving responsibility for the planning, coordination, stakeholder communication, risk management and monitoring/reporting functions throughout the software development life cycle.

Or any combination of education and experience that shall be substantially equivalent to the above education and experience.
