Job Description

Oberarzt (m/w/d) Gastroenterologie | Nortorf, Germany | On-site

We are seeking a highly skilled physician to join a leading national healthcare provider known for its commitment to innovation and cutting-edge medicine. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a central, comprehensive care facility that serves a broad patient population and collaborates with top medical institutions.

The Role

  • Lead the specialized care of inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology patients.
  • Perform and supervise diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, and endosonography.
  • Share responsibility for ward management, patient care planning, and interdisciplinary coordination.
  • Mentor and train junior physicians, contributing to the development of clinical expertise.
  • Foster strong collaboration with surgical, radiology, and other specialized departments.
  • Participate in the strategic development of medical concepts and quality standards.

What You'll Need

  • Specialist physician qualification in Internal Medicine, with a focus or strong interest in Gastroenterology.
  • Proven experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, with knowledge or willingness to train in endosonography and ERCP.
  • Proficiency in clinical information systems (KIS) for documentation, management, and coding.
  • Strong organizational, independent working, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent team-player skills and effective communication in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • A passion for process improvement, quality assurance, and medical education.
