SAP Basis & HANA Administrator

Job Title: SAP Basis & HANA Administrator 

Remote Work: Remote - some travel during the project to Montgomery, AL

Contract Duration - 6+ Months

The Client is  seeking an SAP Basis and HANA Administrator to maintain dependable SAP environments for federal clients. This role manages application and database operations, supports controlled system changes, and works with technical teams to sustain performance, availability, and security.

Core Responsibilities 

· Administer SAP application environments and HANA databases across development, testing, and production. 

· Monitor system health, database performance, background jobs, capacity, and operational alerts. 

· Plan and execute approved installations, patches, upgrades, system refreshes, and transport activities. 

· Manage backups and recovery procedures and participate in disaster recovery exercises. 

· Coordinate access administration, certificate maintenance, hardening, and remediation with security personnel. 

· Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and maintain configuration records and operating procedures. 

 Required Qualifications 

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. 

· At least five years of experience working on the SAP platform. 

· At least 20 years of relevant experience. 

· Experience supporting federal government programs. 

· Proficiency in SAP Basis administration, HANA database operations, transport management, and troubleshooting. 

· Experience with backup and recovery, performance analysis, operating systems, and controlled maintenance. 

Preferred Qualifications 

· Experience with SAP Student Lifecycle Management (SLcM) and Federal Department of War (DOW) programs is preferred 

· Secret Clearance eligible.
