Competitive Market Rates Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to support a major enterprise transformation programme focused on infrastructure modernisation, cloud automation, and platform engineering within a complex engineering and manufacturing environment.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in designing, automating, and supporting enterprise-scale cloud and container platforms, driving best practices across infrastructure, deployment automation, security, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities Lead OpenShift Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development and automation initiatives.<br />Design and implement Azure platform automation solutions.<br />Develop and maintain reusable deployment patterns and standards.<br />Own technical governance and best practices across the DevOps function.<br />Drive OpenShift architecture, platform automation, and infrastructure delivery.<br />Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment orchestration.<br />Support Kubernetes and OpenShift platform troubleshooting and optimisation.<br />Deliver secure and compliant infrastructure solutions.<br />Implement monitoring, logging, and observability tooling across environments.<br />Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and delivery teams to improve deployment efficiency and platform reliability.<br />Champion automation-first approaches to infrastructure and application deployment.Essential Skills &amp; Experience Strong experience administering Microsoft Azure environments.<br />Extensive experience with Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) and/or OpenShift Container Platform.<br />Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development.<br />Strong Kubernetes and OpenShift troubleshooting skills.<br />Experience designing and maintaining enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines.<br />Strong understanding of cloud security and secure delivery practices.<br />Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.<br />Ability to define technical standards, governance, and reusable deployment frameworks.<br />Experience working within large-scale enterprise transformation programmes.Desirable Skills Experience within highly regulated environments.<br />Knowledge of enterprise asset management platforms such as Maximo.<br />Experience supporting international deployments and multi-region cloud environments.<br />Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and tooling.<br />Previous experience working within engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, or defence sectors.Technologies Microsoft Azure<br />Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO)<br />OpenShift Container Platform<br />Kubernetes<br />Terraform<br />GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps<br />CI/CD Tooling<br />Monitoring &amp; Logging Solutions<br />Infrastructure as Code (IaC)<br />DevSecOps ToolingIf you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website
