Job Description

Calibration Technician | Eden Prairie, MN, United States | Hybrid

The Role

  • Perform calibrations on a wide array of measurement and test equipment (M&TE) across physical, dimensional, and electrical disciplines.
  • Use approved procedures and reference standards to ensure compliance and traceability of calibrations.
  • Develop and execute calibration procedures, considering measurement uncertainty and standard suitability.
  • Troubleshoot calibration operations and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate calibration records and utilize metrology database software.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience calibrating M&TE.
  • Strong understanding of metrology principles, including ISO/IEC 17025, measurement traceability, and uncertainty.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and calibration requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with common metrology databases and Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.
  • AAS or technical degree/equivalent military experience is preferred.
