Elastic Developer with Security Clearance

PRISM is seeking an Elastic Developer to design, develop, and maintain solutions leveraging the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats) to support data indexing, search, analytics, and visualization needs. Experience with Kubernetes and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is highly recommended, as you will be responsible for deploying and managing Elastic solutions in cloud-native environments. This is a remote position. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, implement, and optimize Elastic Stack solutions for data ingestion, storage, search, and visualization. Develop and maintain pipelines using Logstash, Beats, and custom integrations. Create and manage Kibana dashboards and visualizations to support business analytics and monitoring. Deploy, scale, and manage Elastic Stack components in Kubernetes environments. Integrate Elastic Stack with OCI services, ensuring secure and efficient cloud deployments. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Elastic Stack performance and reliability. Collaborate with DevOps, cloud, and application development teams to deliver scalable and resilient solutions. Implement security best practices for data protection and access control within Elastic deployments. Stay current with Elastic Stack updates and emerging best practices. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS/EDUCATION): * 3 years of experiencE * Certification Requirements: DoD 8570 IAT II (e.i. Security+) * Proven experience developing and managing solutions with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats). * Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, including deploying and managing stateful applications. * Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). * Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and integration tasks. * Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Elastic Certified Engineer or similar certification. * Knowledge of security and compliance standards relevant to cloud and data solutions. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. * Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm) is a plus.
