The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks efficiently and safely. • Position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard using hostlers. • Stack, move, and organize containers according to operational needs. • Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate moves and tasks with yard personnel and supervisors. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is mandatory. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including shifts, weekends, and holidays. • Strong commitment to safety protocols and a keen attention to detail. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team. • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
