We're hiring for a leading provider of private mortgage insurance, dedicated to helping individuals achieve and maintain homeownership. They are looking for a motivated Accountant to join their dynamic team.

The Role

• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual regulatory and statutory financial filings.
• Support state and municipal premium tax filings, including payment requests.
• Complete monthly accounting close activities, such as journal entries and reconciliations for premiums, losses, and reinsurance.
• Develop and maintain documentation for key departmental processes and controls.
• Compile financial data from various teams for inclusion in regulatory and statutory reports.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT and other departments to enhance processes and controls.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 0-5 years of experience in general accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel and other accounting software; Oracle experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
