Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description:

Design, develop, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting software application development.
Build and manage scalable, highly available, and secure infrastructure solutions using AWS services.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational processes.
Define and maintain server provisioning images, storage configurations, networking parameters, and other infrastructure components.
Develop reusable Terraform modules and templates to standardize infrastructure provisioning.
Manage and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, security, and other cloud services.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate application and infrastructure deployments.
Work with AWS CloudFormation and other IaC technologies where required.
Develop Python scripts and automation utilities to improve infrastructure management and operational efficiency.
Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and reliability.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, configuration, and performance issues and drive issues through resolution.
Collaborate with software developers, DevOps engineers, architects, and other technology teams to understand infrastructure requirements.
Implement cloud infrastructure best practices related to security, scalability, availability, performance, and cost optimization.
Support infrastructure migration, modernization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure architecture, configurations, provisioning processes, and operational procedures.
Participate in on-site client engagements and collaborate directly with client technical teams.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

10+ years of relevant professional experience working with cloud/infrastructure technologies.
Minimum 5 years of on-site client experience in a similar technology and domain.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
9–10+ years of hands-on AWS experience, with advanced/professional-level expertise.
4+ years of hands-on Terraform experience with Infrastructure as Code.
4–5 years of Jenkins experience, including CI/CD pipeline development and administration.
Experience with AWS CloudFormation or comparable Infrastructure as Code technologies.
Strong Python scripting/programming experience for automation and infrastructure management.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure architecture, provisioning, automation, and troubleshooting.
