AlphaGov delivers public-sector consulting for cities, counties, school systems, special districts, utilities, and related agencies. Our work spans classification and compensation, organizational and operational studies, research and program evaluation, economic and workforce analysis, surveys and community research, and applied data and infrastructure research.
We engage experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel. When you authorize it, AlphaGov may name you as an expert collaborator or key personnel on proposals that match your expertise. AlphaGov is engaging a Corrections Offender Management Systems Consultant for current state work. A state department of corrections is procuring a commercial offender management system with hosting, consulting, and support.
We confirm scope, schedule, and fee with you before any engagement begins.
What you'll do
- Map intake, classification, sentence computation, case management, and release workflows
- Advise on OMS configuration, data migration, and interfaces
- Support testing, training, and go-live
- Manage implementation risk
- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming

Required
- At least 5 years of professional experience with corrections offender management systems or DOC operations
- OMS implementation experience
- Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant
Nice to have
- Experience with Marquis, Abilis, or Tyler OMS
- Former DOC staff
- PMP
