Are you a Data Analyst, BI Analyst or Reporting Analyst looking for a high-impact contract role where you can build modern dashboards and automation that genuinely influence decision making across a major manufacturing environment?
On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a global manufacturing organisation in Desford, taking real ownership of business-critical reporting, dashboard development and data-led insights for a key Purchasing function.
In this role you will have the autonomy to shape how data is used across the wider business, working with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into robust, scalable BI solutions, while developing modern reporting, automation and continuous improvement projects.
You will be responsible for collecting, analysing and visualising data from multiple sources, building data models (Power Query / DAX), validating and manipulating data using SQL, and presenting clear findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong Data Analyst who enjoys problem solving, wants more ownership, and is looking to deepen their Power BI and data management capability on business-critical projects.
The Role:

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Extract, manipulate and validate data using SQL and internal business systems
• Build and maintain data models using Power Query and DAX
• Design and implement automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency
• On-site role in Desford, supporting stakeholders across procurement and operations

The Person:

• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis
• Comfortable working with large datasets and communicating insights to stakeholders
