Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer for a contract engagement to build resilient backend services and full-stack solutions for strategic initiatives. You will tackle technical discovery, design API contracts, and deliver production-ready code in an agile environment.What You’ll DoDeliver Hands-On Code: Build scalable microservices using TypeScript and Node.js, with occasional UI enhancements using amp; Architect: Create cloud-native backend services, establish API contracts, and solve complex system integration challenges.Ensure Standards: Implement enterprise-grade security (Security First), performance, and maintainability across services.Collaborate: Partner with product and engineering team members to refine requirements, sequence technical deliverables, and conduct code reviews.Key QualificationsTypeScript amp; Node.js: Expert-level experience writing production backend APIs and services.Frontend: Hands-on experience with React for web UI amp; Databases: Practical experience with AWS serverless/cloud tooling (Lambda, ECS, S3) and NoSQL (DynamoDB).Auth amp; Security: Strong understanding of JWTs and OAuth design patterns.Execution: Comfort navigating ambiguous requirements and delivering clean, well-tested code independently.Nice-to-HaveExposure to Java, Angular, GraphQL, or Kong API Gateway.Experience with CI/CD via GitHub Actions and cross-language migration patterns.Technical RequirementsThe expected tech stack is Node and TypeScript, along with a strong understanding of AWS architecture (focused on high-level architecture and resource utilization rather than deep infrastructure minutia).
