Raytheon Finance is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team to lead the Finance Academy of Management Program, Finance CORE Domain activities, support ongoing business transformation initiatives and assumed Command Media Officer (CMO) responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the key CORE processes for the Finance Domain & Sub-Domains. This role requires a highly organized and strategic individual to support the continuous improvement and strategic alignment of financial processes within our CORE operating system. The position provides a high-visibility opportunity to work closely with leaders across the function, to track initiative execution, ensure collaboration, and optimal resource utilization.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, program/project management skills and a desire to drive innovation.
Ability to travel to support onsite engagements as needed
What You Will Do
Core Domain Focal– Support will drive the adoption and integration of the CORE Operating System within their assigned domains. Using CORE tools, collaborating with CORE home office partners and sub-domain sponsors:
Goal Setting and Alignment: Input and align financial goals within the Finance domain. Utilize structured goal flow-down and participate in exercises to ensure alignment with enterprise goals.
Providing support for ad hoc and recurring CORE deliverables, to include but not limited to:
Process Mapping: Map key financial processes and inputs/outputs to meet customer KPIs using SIPOC and other relevant tools.
CORE Maturity Assessment: Conduct CORE maturity assessments to evaluate the maturity of key financial processes, work environment, and goals.
Progress Monitoring: Engage with initiative sponsors and project owners to assess completion of targets and track control tower metrics for Domain
Drive Ongoing Improvement: Engage with Strategic / CORE initiative teams to align to business and organizational goals. Facilitate CORE engagement events.
Responsible for management, overseeing the creation, maintenance, and communication of finance command media.
Build collaborative relationships with Command Media Officers to successfully support ongoing initiatives Provide support for legacy command media disposition efforts
Ongoing business transformation initiatives
Collaboration within the Business Process team to leverage internal partnerships to support the finance projects.
Use strategic thinking to help understand integration to Finance level goals alignment.
Attend varying meetings to help moderate as a CORE SME, identify key initiatives and areas for harmonization and synergy.
Lead CFO Town Hall Engagements work closely with BP Director and senior leadership to plan the bi-annual Town Hall Engagement.
Establish executive presence by being able to brief status to varying levels of leadership across the organization. Foster connectivity and develop a network across Finance with the People's Council network.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience
Experience with Microsoft office
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with CORE operating system or similar continuous improvement frameworks.
Proven track record of driving process improvements
Prior experience with Finance Process & Tools
CORE certification
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to influence large-scale change throughout multiple channels and layers in an organization
Able to adapt style and process to a variety of audiences and environments
Ability to work collaboratively across different functions and business units.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
