Job Description

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer with a strong interest in artificial intelligence to help lead AI initiatives within a Human Capital organization.
This role sits at the intersection of AI, technology, people's strategy, and product innovation. The successful candidate will help identify opportunities where AI can meaningfully improve how an organization attracts, assesses, develops, and supports talent.
You will work closely with Human Capital, product management, software engineering, and other internal stakeholders to translate business challenges into practical AI solutions. This is a highly collaborative role with significant ownership and the opportunity to influence the organization's broader AI strategy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can transform Human Capital processes and workflows.
  • Translate business needs and challenges into practical, well-defined AI use cases and solutions.
  • Own the design, development, and delivery of AI prototypes, primarily using Python.
  • Develop AI-powered solutions for high-impact Human Capital applications.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing products and platforms.
  • Ensure AI solutions align with established technical architecture, security, governance, and engineering standards.
  • Evaluate AI tools, models, and solutions based on performance, usability, and business impact.
  • Gather stakeholder and user feedback and continuously refine AI solutions to improve outcomes.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of deployed AI tools and recommend enhancements based on data and user feedback.
  • Establish and communicate a clear perspective on the rapidly evolving AI landscape, including emerging models, tools, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Help guide strategic and tactical decisions regarding the adoption and application of AI technologies.
  • Explore and apply technologies such as LLMs, RAG, and agentic architectures to Human Capital use cases.
  • Mentor and support junior team members while helping establish technical direction and best practices.
  • Collaborate across multiple teams and manage dependencies to ensure projects move forward efficiently.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant or quantitative discipline.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Human Capital
    • Data Science
    • Technology Development
    • AI/Technology-related disciplines
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Python.
  • Strong data fluency and ability to work effectively with structured and unstructured data.
  • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI tools.
  • Hands-on understanding of AI concepts and technologies, including:
    • Prompt engineering/design
    • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
    • Agentic architectures
    • LLM-powered applications
  • Experience with modern AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business challenges into practical, measurable AI-driven solutions.
  • Strong project ownership and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Managerial or team leadership experience.
  • Experience applying AI or data science within Human Capital, HR, talent acquisition, talent assessment, or talent development.
  • Experience with social science research methodologies.
  • Experience designing and evaluating AI solutions using quantitative and qualitative feedback.
  • Experience integrating AI capabilities into production products or enterprise technology environments.
  • Experience working with agentic AI systems and LLM-based workflows.
  • Experience evaluating emerging AI models and developer tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, technically strong AI professional who can bridge the gap between business needs and emerging AI capabilities.
You should be comfortable moving from an ambiguous business problem to a working prototype, gathering feedback, refining the solution, and collaborating with engineering teams to scale it into production.
Strong candidates will combine Python development, data science, statistical thinking, AI/LLM knowledge, and excellent stakeholder-management skills with the ability to independently drive initiatives forward.
What You Can Expect
  • Lead high-impact AI initiatives within a Human Capital environment.
  • Work at the intersection of AI, people strategy, product, and technology.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional engineering and product teams.
  • Influence the organization's approach to emerging AI technologies.
  • Build practical AI solutions addressing meaningful business challenges.
  • Mentor junior professionals and help establish AI best practices.
  • Work in a fast-moving environment with significant ownership and autonomy.
