This employer is seeking an immediate hire for an Intermodal Equipment Operator to join their global supply chain operations. The Role

• Operate heavy equipment such as hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks efficiently and safely.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily logistics tasks.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including night shifts and potential weekends/holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs on railcars.
• Experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred.
