Finance Director – Physician & Healthcare Provider Compensation
Job Type:
Full-Time, Direct-Hire (Permanent placement on company payroll with full benefits; not a temporary job)
Location:
Pittsburgh, PA 15219 (Hybrid from Pittsburgh corporate office)
Schedule:
Full-Time, Day Shift (Standard corporate hours with flexibility required to meet project deadlines)
New Hire Starting Base Pay:

Future Earning Potential:
Position salary progresses over time through performance, tenure, and executive career ladder advancement.

Mandatory Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.

Experience & Skills

Minimum of seven (7) years of related physician & provider compensation finance work experience required, including at least two (2) years of direct managerial or supervisory experience.
Strong expertise in healthcare finance and physician/provider compensation required.

Systems Knowledge

Advanced financial analytics, data modeling, reporting software proficiency, and controllership/reconciliation expertise.

Leadership & Communication

Exceptional leadership, mentorship, and communication skills to collaborate with operational executives, clinical stakeholders, and interdepartmental teams.
How You'll Make an Impact
Team Leadership & Process Standardization:
Lead, mentor, and develop a growing provider compensation team, driving process standardization, documentation, cross-training, and efficiency across all compensation models.

Strategic Compensation Design

Collaborate with clinical stakeholders and executive leadership to design, implement, and analyze competitive physician compensation strategies and pay administration frameworks.

Financial Reporting & Audit Management

Oversee complex financial projections, micro/macro trend investigations, industry benchmarking, internal/external audit support, and month-end controllership reconciliations.

Stakeholder Engagement & Operations

Serve as the primary departmental representative to operational leadership, educating cross-functional stakeholders on best practices and organizational compensation initiatives.
