Job Description:

As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports the organization's applications and services. Your role will involve working with Kubernetes, DevSecOps practices, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, RedHat Linux, Helm, container management, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS IAM. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the platform, as well as optimizing performance and cost-efficiency.

To excel in this role, you should have hands-on experience with the tools and processes mentioned above. Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration, DevSecOps practices for integrating security into the development process, and Terraform for infrastructure as code will be beneficial. Experience with Ansible and Puppet for configuration management, RedHat Linux for operating system administration, Helm for managing Kubernetes applications, and AWS IAM for identity and access management will also be valuable. Your expertise in these areas will enable you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the platform infrastructure.

Here's what you'll need:

5+ years of experience in the following areas:

  • Platform Engineering
  • Kubernetes
  • DevSecOps
  • Terraform
  • Ansible
  • RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Helm
  • Container Management
  • CI/CD

Bonus points if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Relevant certifications in Kubernetes and/or DevSecOps
  • AWS experience working with large-scale cloud environments
  • Puppet
  • AWS IAM

Security clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance is required

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:
$111,800—$221,800 USD
