Job description

Butcher / Deli Counter Specialist | Köln, Germany | On-site

We are seeking a passionate Butcher/Deli Counter Specialist to be the heart of our fresh food counter. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in meat, sausage, and cheese to craft exceptional products and provide outstanding customer service.

The Role

  • Engage customers with expert advice and personalized service for meat, sausage, and cheese products.
  • Showcase your creativity by preparing appealing and high-quality culinary creations.
  • Ensure impeccable product presentation, freshness, and strict adherence to hygiene standards.
  • Independently prepare specialty items according to in-house recipes.
  • Contribute to an attractive and well-maintained store environment.

What You'll Need

  • Ideally, a completed apprenticeship as a butcher, meat craftsman, or food retail sales assistant with a focus on butchery.
  • Genuine enjoyment of interacting with customers and a passion for the food retail industry.
  • A reliable, responsible, and team-oriented work style with a strong customer focus.
  • Flexibility to work in a rotating shift system, Monday to Saturday, between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
