The Role
• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, including diagrams, manuals, and operational procedures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for project management and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts to gather technical information.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with current systems.
• Maintain records of revisions and manage documentation repositories for accessibility and traceability.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or a related field (experience may substitute for education).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
• Familiarity with industry-standard writing styles or government-specific guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information.
• Experience developing and maintaining POA&Ms or similar project plans.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
