The Role • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting and assisting shoppers with their needs. • Efficiently operate the cash register, process payments, make change, and bag merchandise. • Receive, unpack, stock, and rotate merchandise, ensuring shelves are well-presented and displays are maintained. • Maintain store cleanliness, including restrooms, stockroom, and sales floor, and assist with outdoor displays. • Support the implementation and upkeep of store planograms. • Perform store opening and closing procedures, and act in a leadership capacity in the absence of management. What You'll Need • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. • Understanding and adherence to safety policies and procedures. • Ability to follow planograms and merchandise presentation guidelines. • Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations for transactions and percentages. • Competence in operating cash registers and performing cash handling procedures accurately. • Prior supervisory or related experience preferred, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.
