Java Full Stack Developer – Spring Boot, JEE, JSF & Oracle

Job Description

DSS is seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java, JEE, Spring Boot, JSF, Python, and Oracle Database to design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable, high-performance enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across the entire software development lifecycle, including application design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and production support.

The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders, to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions aligned with modern cloud-native development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain complex full-stack applications using Java, JEE, Spring Boot, JSF, and related technologies.
• Develop and maintain enterprise web applications, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Build scalable, distributed microservices using Spring Boot and event-driven architecture patterns.
• Develop and integrate service-oriented applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth2, JWT, and encryption standards.
• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain Oracle SQL scripts, queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Utilize persistence frameworks such as Hibernate, JPA, and other ORM technologies for efficient database interaction.
• Develop and maintain application components using Python where required.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide production support.
• Maintain, upgrade, and enhance existing applications to improve functionality, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and automation tools.
• Follow version control, code review, unit testing, integration testing, and continuous delivery best practices.
• Apply cloud-native development principles and contribute to application modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, and business teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and follow established coding standards and software development best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java development, including Core Java and JEE technologies.
• Experience developing enterprise applications using Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Experience with JavaServer Faces (JSF) and full-stack web application development.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and service-oriented integration.
• Proficiency in Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL scripting.
• Experience with persistence frameworks such as Hibernate and JPA.
• Working knowledge of Python programming.
• Experience implementing application security using OAuth2, JWT, and encryption mechanisms.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, version control, and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and deployment processes.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, debugging, testing, and production support.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging technologies.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and cloud-native application development.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployment.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and application performance optimization.
• Experience maintaining and modernizing legacy JEE applications.
