Job Description

Logistic Services Int. seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer II to protect mission-critical aviation and defense logistics systems. In this role, you will design, implement, and monitor security controls across networks, servers, and applications supporting transportation and warehousing operations. Responsibilities include managing SIEM alerts, conducting vulnerability assessments, supporting incident response, and hardening Windows and Linux environments. You'll collaborate with cross-functional engineering and IT teams to ensure compliance with security best practices, document risks and mitigations, and continuously improve defenses in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain security controls for logistics and aviation/defense systems
  • Monitor and tune SIEM tools, investigate alerts, and support incident response
  • Conduct regular vulnerability scans, assessments, and remediation tracking
  • Harden Windows, Linux, and network environments following security best practices
  • Collaborate with IT, engineering, and program teams to embed security into projects
  • Document security risks, control implementations, and response procedures
  • Support compliance with defense, aviation, and corporate security requirements
