Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Systems Engineer (ISSE 3) to provide expert-level security engineering, architecture development, and risk‑management support for complex, multi‑enclave systems. As the lead security authority on multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure system designs, integrations, and implementations meet stringent Government security requirements and align with mission and enterprise objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Cybersecurity engineering lead across system design, development, implementation, evaluation, and secure integration efforts
  • Apply expert knowledge of Cybersecurity policies, engineering practices, and workforce structures to develop secure system and network solutions
  • Work closely with stakeholders, customers, and engineering teams to define requirements, resolve security issues, and maintain mission alignment
  • Lead the design, assessment, and integration of Cybersecurity architectures and trusted system-to-system relationships
  • Support Government enforcement of secure‑design principles across shared architectures and external partner systems
  • Conduct and oversee security planning, assessments, risk analyses, and continuous risk‑management activities
  • Identify complete security requirements for protecting Government data across multi‑classification and multi‑domain environments
  • Develop secure architectures and system designs spanning multiple enclaves with varying protection requirements
  • Recommend enterprise‑level solutions to strengthen system security posture and meet mission and compliance needs Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (must already be held - no sponsorships)
  • IASAE III certification: CISSP‑ISSAP, CISSP‑ISSEP, or CCSP
  • Twenty (20) years of ISSE experience supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Five (5) years of recent experience applying Cybersecurity principles such as authentication/authorization, access control, PKI, and enterprise security architecture
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related technical discipline
– A Master’s degree may substitute two (2) years of experience (18 years total)
– In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, four (4) additional years of ISSE experience may substitute (24 years total) Why Join Us
