We are seeking a proactive leader to manage the fresh produce department in a pioneering supermarket location, noted for its innovative rooftop farm concept. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer experience for a vital part of our grocery business.

The Role

• Lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Ensure exceptional product presentation, freshness, and adherence to hygiene standards for all fresh produce.
• Drive sales through engaging displays, expert customer advice, and excellent service.
• Implement sales-promoting initiatives and new ideas independently.
• Oversee department operations, including cost and revenue management, inventory, pricing, and stock flow.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training, preferably in the food retail sector.
• Strong knowledge of products, with a keen awareness of freshness and quality.
• A solution-oriented and results-driven approach, demonstrating commitment and meticulousness.
• Excellent teamwork, customer focus, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts between Monday and Saturday, covering morning, mid, and late shifts.
