The Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer / Cloud Architect to design, implement, manage, and optimize secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), along with knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, security, automation, and infrastructure management.

Pay Rate Transparency

Pay Range: $70 $73 / hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

What You'll Do

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure and cloud-based applications.
• Develop scalable, highly available, and cost-effective cloud architecture solutions.
• Manage cloud services, virtual machines, storage, networking, and databases.
• Implement cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance best practices.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance and costs.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, and operations teams.
• Support cloud migration, modernization, and application deployment initiatives.
• Maintain cloud documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational standards.

What You Bring

• 10+ years of experience
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, virtual machines, storage, databases, and load balancing.
• Experience with cloud security, IAM, encryption, and access controls.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of Linux and/or Windows server administration.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and cloud cost optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
