Job Description

Title: Manager – Business Analyst, Quality Rubric & Evaluation Design
Location: Remote

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst Manager to support an AI-enabled transformation initiative within Financial Services. This role will translate complex, judgment-based Internal Audit and Quality Assurance processes into structured, testable requirements and evaluation criteria that engineering teams can build against.
The ideal candidate combines strong Business Analysis experience with knowledge of Internal Audit, risk, controls, or assurance and experience supporting process automation or AI-enabled transformation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Audit and Quality Assurance SMEs to uncover and document decision logic, evidence requirements, and review criteria.
  • Translate qualitative policies, controls, rubrics, and expert judgment into discrete, testable requirements.
  • Develop labeled evaluation datasets, acceptance criteria, test cases, and performance thresholds.
  • Define capability requirements, including inputs/outputs, exception handling, human review, and escalation rules.
  • Document current-state processes and target-state AI-assisted workflows.
  • Lead stakeholder working sessions and manage requirements through engineering delivery.
  • Support testing by comparing AI-assisted outputs against reviewer conclusions and identifying gaps.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting automation, transformation, or technology initiatives.
  • Experience within Financial Services, Banking, or another regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of Internal Audit, SOX, Quality Assurance, Risk, or Controls.
  • Experience translating complex or undocumented business processes into structured requirements.
  • Experience developing acceptance criteria, test cases, evaluation datasets, or other methods for validating solution outputs.
  • Strong written communication, requirements documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
  • Experience with AI, Generative AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation initiatives.
  • Internal Audit Quality Assurance / QAIP experience.
  • CIA, CISA, or similar certification.
  • Big Four, national consulting, or professional services experience.
