Job Overview

We are looking for an AI-Native Software Engineer – AWS to join our security engineering team. The engineer will build secure, scalable, cloud-based applications and security tools using AI-native software development practices and AWS technologies.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AI-assisted software development, AWS cloud services, backend and frontend development, APIs, and modern application architectures. You will work closely with engineering leadership and other engineers to modernize legacy systems and deliver reliable, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-native, scalable AWS applications and API platforms.
• Build, test, deploy, and support production-grade cloud and security applications.
• Apply AI-native development practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Use AI tools for requirements analysis, user-story breakdown, coding, testing, debugging, defect resolution, and deployment.
• Review and validate AI-generated code for security, quality, performance, and architectural issues.
• Develop backend services using Python, Java, Node.js, or similar technologies.
• Develop web applications using React, JavaScript, or similar frontend technologies.
• Modernize legacy and monolithic applications using modern cloud-native and AI-native architectures.
• Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure AWS solutions.
• Work with engineering leadership to define and execute Agile development plans.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve application reliability and performance.
• Build security capabilities that support AI-driven software development and modern cloud environments.
• Work with technologies such as Kafka, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Oracle, and CockroachDB.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on experience building and deploying production applications on AWS.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
• Strong experience with AI-native or AI-assisted software development.
• Experience using AI throughout the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, automated defect resolution, and deployment.
• Backend development experience with Python, Java, Node.js, or similar languages.
• Frontend development experience with React, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
• Experience building secure, scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant applications.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native application development.
• Strong understanding of application security and secure software development practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• CISSP, CCSP, or similar security certification.
• Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Oracle, or CockroachDB.
• Experience modernizing legacy or monolithic applications.
• Experience developing enterprise or customer-facing applications.
• Experience working in an AI-native engineering environment.
