Submit your application for the opportunity below: Angiography Technologist \nBecome a key player in our Angiography & Interventional Radiology (IR) Lab, where cutting-edge imaging technology and specialized expertise are used to treat a wide range of conditions, including trauma, stroke interventions, and vascular issues.
As a team member, you’ll work alongside expert radiologists and healthcare professionals to perform life-saving procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, and emergency interventions in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.\n\nThis position requires call during the week and weekends (in a rotation) and must be within 30 minutes from the hospital.\nJob Summary and Qualifications\n\n\n\n\nWhat you will do in this position:\n\n\n You will assist with diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures, ensuring minimal risk to the patient and team members according to the departmental protocols for a Level 1 Trauma Center and DNV Designate Comprehensive Stroke facility. \n You will function as a technical resource and provides scrub assistance using aseptic technique. \n You will need to have detailed knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes and principles of diagnostic and interventional radiology.\n\n\n\n What qualifications you will need:\n\n Graduate of accredited school of cardiovascular technology\n Graduate of accredited school of radiology\n Associate degree or baccalaureate degree in a clinically related health science field\n Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date\n Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date\n (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or (RCES) Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date\n\n Benefits\n\nMemorial Health University Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
