Expert and Sr. Data Scientist 117-122 with Security Clearance

• ** Please note that this position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid. Expert and Sr. Data Scientist Expert Data Scientist Education and Experience Required:
• Minimum 18 years of total relevant experience
• Bachelors and Masters STEM degree can count for up to an additional 5 years of experience
• 4+ years of experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases and cloud architectures
• Experience leveraging APIs to query systems and migrate data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate challenging technical concepts
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java
• Experience developing, sustaining, and monitoring operational data pipelines supporting multiple data formats and interfaces.
• Prior imagery/geospatial experience Desired:
• Experience working with NGA IT enterprise solutions (e.g., NGA CORE, NGA MLOps), ATO processes, and Government NPE certificates; experience implementing processes, standards, and tools within an organization based on the Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise; experience developing dynamic visualizations. Sr.

Data Scientist Education and Experience Required

• Minimum 10 years of total relevant experience
• Bachelors and Masters STEM degree can count for up to an additional 5 years of experience
• Experience working with AI/ML technologies and data systems
• Experience working with multiple file types including geospatial file formats, JSON, XML, etc.
• 3+ years of experience doing quantitative analysis, developing visualizations, and processing complex data to create data-driven insights
• Development experience in Python and other languages for data cleaning and manipulation
• Prior imagery/geospatial experience Desired:
• Experience applying NLP algorithms to extract data from documents; experience with enterprise NGA analytic modernization efforts such as SOM, Computer Vision, automated collection, or automated reporting along with data standardization best practices; demonstrated expertise in math, statistics, and quantitative analysis; experience with various analytic techniques such as classification, regression, clustering, data reduction, and causal modeling.
