Sales Engineer - Engineering Solutions and Project Management

We are looking for a motivated, commercially minded and technically capable Sales Engineer to join our team.
This is exciting opportunity for an individual who combines strong engineering knowledge with excellent customer relationships and sales skills. You will take ownership of customer contracts from initial enquiry and quotation stage through to engineering, installation and commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered successfully, and customers receive the highest level of service.
You will play a key role in developing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and providing engineered solutions to meet our customers' requirements. You will ideally have a combination of engineering expertise, commercial awareness and sales experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage customer contracts from initial sales enquiry through to installation and commissioning
• Specify suitable plant, machinery and equipment to meet project requirements
• Prepare project costings, quotations and proposals for new business opportunities
• Design and engineer contracts ensure solutions are practical, efficient and commercially viable
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
• Liaise directly with customers to understand their requirements and provide technical support
• Undertake customer site visits to assess requirements, identify challenges and recommend engineered solutions
• Proactively generate new business through customer visits, marketing activities and sales development
• Develop a through understanding of the customer base, their operations and future requirements
• Complete all necessary technical, commercial and project documentation
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure projects progress smoothly and customer expectations are met
