Position: Electrical Engineer (UK and International)

Location: Stockton-on-Tees Rate/Salary: £34000 - 38,000 Plus Fantastic Overtime exceeding 60k Type:

Permanent (Must be within Commutable Distance to Stockton-on-Tees)

Working from the workshop with periods of time away on site (worldwide) 2 3 weeks at a time.

HSB Technical Ltd is a specialist recruiter within the Power & Propulsion, Shipbuilding, Shipping & Energy and Aerospace sectors. We have a number of permanent and contract vacancies for multiple businesses across the UK and overseas.

The job description below will outline this position of: Electrical Engineer

Typically, this person will work on a range of installation tasks in the workshop or in the field (the field are vessels in the UK and internationally), ensuring that electrical systems are set up correctly and efficiently. Your expertise will be key in installing various electrical components, wiring, and systems, all while adhering to industry standards and regulations. Youll work on diverse projects, from new installations to upgrades and modifications, contributing significantly to the success and reliability of our electrical systems.

HSB Technicals client is a very established and well-regarded business entity.

Duties and responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer:

  • Install and manage cable systems, including installation and termination.
  • Build panels and switchgear.
  • Perform fault-finding, testing, and commissioning.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and general workshop duties.
  • Travel and stay overnight for periods of time as required - UK and International.

Qualifications and requirements for the Electrical Engineer:

  • Completed Time-Served Apprenticeship.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 qualification.
  • A full clean driving licence is essential.
  • Flexibility and the ability to work autonomously.
  • BOSIET training will be provided for any offshore work.
  • Willingness to travel internationally on short notice.
