About the Role

This internship places you at the center of a fast-growing AI recruitment startup, working directly alongside the founding team. You will help connect exceptional candidates with career-defining opportunities at leading VC-backed startups, playing a pivotal role in delivering an outstanding candidate experience as the platform scales rapidly.

What You'll Do

  • Manage end-to-end candidate relationships, ensuring every person in the pipeline has a high-quality, responsive experience.

  • Source, screen, and engage with exceptional talent across a range of startup roles.

  • Coordinate introductions between candidates and founders or hiring managers at VC-backed startups.

  • Own and optimize recruiting workflows, identifying opportunities to automate or streamline repetitive processes.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the founding team on operations, growth, and platform initiatives.

  • Contribute to social media or content efforts that support candidate and company acquisition.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree completed prior to the internship start date.

  • At least 3 months of prior internship or professional experience in a fast-paced environment such as consulting, sales, startups, or venture capital.

  • Demonstrated ability to take end-to-end ownership of initiatives and deliver results with minimal oversight.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, verifiable through professional or project work.

  • Evidence of high academic achievement or exceptional project output, such as selective university attendance, strong academic record, or substantial independent work.

  • Comfortable working in informal, entrepreneurial team environments with flat structures and rapid feedback loops.

  • Willing to relocate to San Francisco and live and work in a shared hacker-house setup with the founding team for the duration of the internship.

  • Available to commit to a 6-day work week.

  • Prior experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or candidate relationship management is a plus.

  • Familiarity with the VC-backed startup ecosystem and hiring practices is a plus.

  • Experience with workflow automation or process optimization tools is a plus.

  • Social media or content creation experience is a plus.

Location

On-site in San Francisco, California. This role is fully in-person; the team lives and works together in a shared hacker-house. Visa sponsorship is available.
