We are seeking an experienced Transport Data Analyst to join our growing refrigerated transport, distribution, and cold storage operation in Perth. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Analyst, this role partners closely with Operations, Fleet, Finance, and Senior Leadership to deliver data-driven insights that improve operational efficiency, profitability, and service performance.

About the Role

In this role, you will analyse transport, fleet, operational, and financial data to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and support strategic decision-making across the business.

You will play a key role in developing reporting frameworks, monitoring performance, improving fleet utilisation, and delivering insights that drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse transport, fleet, operational, and financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Develop and maintain dashboards, KPI reporting, and business intelligence tools
• Produce weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for management and executive teams
• Monitor performance metrics including fleet utilisation, DIFOT, depot productivity, fuel usage, and load optimisation
• Conduct route profitability analysis, including freight rates, operational costs, and revenue performance
• Support tender submissions and commercial projects with detailed data analysis
• Identify cost saving opportunities and revenue leakage across the transport network
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across multiple systems
• Deliver clear, practical insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and business performance

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Experience within transport, logistics, warehousing, distribution, or cold storage environments
• Tertiary qualification in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Supply Chain & Logistics, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• 2-3 years' experience in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Operational Analyst role
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including Pivot Tables, data modelling, and complex formulas)
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Proven ability to work with complex datasets and translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
