Oracle Finance Lead Functional Analyst
Location: Menlo Park, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite at customer location
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Lead Functional Analyst to support a large, integrated enterprise supply chain landscape. The role will serve as the onsite functional bridge between customer Application Managers, the Customer QA Lead, and offshore QA teams in India and Singapore.
The ideal candidate will have strong Oracle Fusion Finance functional expertise, extensive experience with integrated enterprise applications, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional validation scenarios and coordinate onsite/offshore QA activities.
Key Responsibilities

Work directly with onsite Application Managers to gather and clarify functional requirements across Oracle Fusion Finance and integrated internal applications.

Partner with the onsite Customer QA Lead to coordinate day-to-day functional activities with offshore QA teams.

Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements and validation scenarios.

Review offshore QA scenarios for functional coverage, business relevance, and traceability to requirements.

Own the functional understanding of end-to-end integrated business flows across internal applications, Oracle Fusion, and downstream/third-party systems.

Act as the onsite representative for the offshore QA team, communicating status, risks, issues, and blockers.

Confirm functional readiness ahead of releases and support UAT activities with business users.

Lead and support defect triage and resolution across Oracle Fusion, internal applications, and third-party systems.

Monitor Oracle Fusion quarterly releases, patches, and updates and assess their impact on existing business processes and integrations.

Review Oracle release notes and identify impacted business areas.

Develop risk-based regression testing strategies following Oracle updates.

Validate integrations, interfaces, reports, workflows, and customizations after Oracle patches and quarterly releases.

Coordinate validation activities across multiple application and business teams.
Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion Finance.

Strong functional knowledge across most of the following:

Receivables (AR)

Revenue
-
General Accounting / General Ledger (GL)

Asset Accounting
-
Commercial Tax
-
Payables (AP) & Payments
-
Procurement
-
Subscription
-
Customer MDM / RL Customer MDM Integration

Intercompany
-

Proven experience working with heavily integrated Oracle Fusion environments.

Experience validating end-to-end business flows involving:
-
Oracle Fusion
-
Custom/in-house applications
-
Third-party applications
-
Downstream systems
-

Strong experience creating, reviewing, and validating functional test scenarios.
-
Experience with UAT, regression testing, release testing, defect triage, and functional validation.
-
Ability to quickly understand proprietary/internal applications with limited documentation.
-
Strong understanding of business processes, data flows, and application integrations.
-
Experience working in an onsite–offshore delivery model.
-
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
-
Ability to communicate complex Finance and supply chain processes to both business and technical teams.

Must be able to work onsite 3 days per week at the customer location.
Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with end-to-end Oracle Fusion Finance implementations, upgrades, or quarterly release cycles.

Knowledge of integration technologies and patterns such as:

Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

Ability to trace and validate cross-application data flows.

Experience coordinating testing/validation across multiple application owners.

Familiarity with defect management and requirement traceability tools.

Experience working across US–India time zones.
Candidate Requirements

Must be based in California, USA.

Must be able to work onsite 3 days per week at the customer location in Menlo Park, CA.
