This is an exciting opportunity to help build our technical team from the ground up at a mission-driven company advancing medical education for healthcare professionals worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to own test automation and release verification during a pivotal platform transition.

You'll build and maintain end-to-end test coverage, working closely with a small, collaborative engineering team to make sure every system we modernize continues to behave exactly as expected before it goes live. We're looking for someone who takes real ownership and pride in getting the details right, and who genuinely enjoys solving hard problems as part of a team.

Core Tools & Stack: Playwright, Jest, GitHub Actions/OIDC, AWS (ECS, RDS), AI-assisted test generation

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience building test automation, not manual QA
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Jest
  
• Comfortable working inside CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions
  
• AWS experience: standing up and tearing down test environments, ECS task definitions, and seeded databases from RDS snapshots
  
• Experience using AI tools to generate and maintain test cases
  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  
• A genuine team player who communicates openly, collaborates generously, and helps build a supportive, culture-first environment for the people around them
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and rehome our end-to-end test suite onto modern infrastructure
  
• Build a parity-testing harness that proves a rebuilt screen behaves identically to the one it replaced
  
• Gate CI pipelines with automated test coverage for every screen migrated off legacy code
  
• Own release verification and the sign-off process that determines when a system transfers to its internal owner
  
• Use AI tools to accelerate test case generation and maintenance
  
• Show up as a collaborative, culture-first team member as we build our technical organization from the ground up
