Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst – Business Intelligence to support the modernization of a large enterprise reporting environment with 10,000+ mainframe reports.
The role will work with business users to understand which reports are important, identify opportunities to consolidate or retire reports, and help define the overall report migration strategy and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
⁠Review and analyze the existing 10,000+ mainframe reports.
⁠Work with business stakeholders and report users to understand how reports are used and which are business-critical.
⁠Identify report owners, key users, and stake holders.
⁠Develop a report migration plan that defines priorities, sequencing, dependencies, and recommended migration waves.
⁠Document key report requirements, business rules, calculations, and data dependencies needed for migration.
⁠Work with business, BI, and data teams to define the migration roadmap and support business validation.
 

Must Have:

⁠10+ years of Business Analysis in BI reporting.
⁠Experience working with large and enterprise reporting environments.
⁠Strong understanding of reporting requirements, KPIs, business rules, and data dependencies.
⁠Ability to independently lead discussions, organize findings, and drive decisions.
⁠Strong communication and documentation skills.
 

Nice to Have:

⁠P&C Insurance or financial-services experience.
⁠Experience with legacy reporting modernization or migration programs.
⁠Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms.
⁠Exposure to mainframe, COBOL, DB2, or other legacy reporting environments.
