Role: Senior Mobile Developer / Mobile Application Architect
Location: New Jersy / New York
Duration: Long Term
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer with 15+ years of software development experience and strong expertise in Android and iOS application development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SwiftUI, Swift, Kotlin, Java, mobile application architecture, performance optimization, and end-to-end mobile application delivery.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native Android and iOS applications.
  • Build modern iOS user interfaces using SwiftUI and UIKit.
  • Develop Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and modern Android development frameworks.
  • Define scalable mobile application architectures, design patterns, and reusable components.
  • Integrate REST APIs, GraphQL, authentication, payment gateways, and third-party SDKs.
  • Implement secure data storage, encryption, and mobile application security best practices.
  • Optimize application performance, responsiveness, memory usage, and battery consumption.
  • Lead code reviews, technical design discussions, and engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, QA teams, and architects.
  • Mentor developers, provide technical guidance, and drive engineering excellence.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and application releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and ensure application stability.
Required Technical Skills
  • Experience: 15+ years in software development, with substantial hands-on mobile development experience.
  • iOS: Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, async/await, Core Data, and Apple development tools.
  • Android: Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, Android Jetpack, and Android Studio.
  • Architecture: MVVM, Clean Architecture, modularization, dependency injection, and SOLID principles.
  • Networking: REST APIs, GraphQL, JSON, OAuth 2.0, and secure API integration.
  • Testing: XCTest, XCUITest, JUnit, Espresso, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Tools: Xcode, Android Studio, Git, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, Fastlane, and CI/CD tools.
  • Security: Secure authentication, Keychain, Android Keystore, and data protection.
  • Cloud and analytics: Firebase, crash reporting, monitoring, and mobile analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading mobile engineering teams and delivering enterprise-grade applications.
  • Strong understanding of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design.
  • Experience with app modernization, legacy code migration, and large-scale mobile platforms.
  • Familiarity with accessibility, offline-first design, and mobile performance profiling.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and cross-functional technical leadership.
