Location: Onsite - New York, NY

Experience: 12+ Years

Duration: 6 to 12 months (with possible extension)

Position Summary:

Seeking a hands-on Google Cloud Platform Architect with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform and Terraform to support a strategic client initiative.

The ideal candidate will provide Google Cloud Platform technical leadership, build and automate cloud infrastructure, and apply cloud security best practices while being mentored on advanced security controls by the client team.

• Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)
• CI/CD Pipelines (Harness or equivalent)
• Vertex AI / Google Cloud Platform AI Services

Secondary Technical Skills

• Google Cloud Platform Security Services (IAM, Cloud Armor, KMS, Secret Manager)
• VPC Service Controls
• Security Command Center (SCC)
• ICAM / Identity & Access Management

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules for automated infrastructure provisioning.
• Support GKE deployments and Kubernetes platform operations.
• Integrate cloud infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement governance and compliance controls.
• Apply cloud security best practices across identity, networking, secrets management, and data protection.
• Support AI/ML workloads and secure adoption of Vertex AI services.

Experience

• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience.
• Recent hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform in production environments.
• Strong Terraform implementation experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes, automation, and modern DevOps practices.
• Working knowledge of cloud security concepts and controls.
