Position Summary:
The HR Manager is responsible for daily human resources operations including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance tracking, and HR system management while driving automation and AI-enabled employee experience improvements.
Position Details:
- Location: Northbrook, IL
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday on-site.
- Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000
Key Responsibilities
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
- Handle employee relations and HR support issues
- Maintain HR records and compliance documentation
- Administer benefits and HR systems
- Support policy implementation and updates
- Track HR metrics and workforce data
- Support employee communication and engagement processes
AI & Automation Requirement
- Must implement AI-driven onboarding and employee self-service tools
- Responsible for automating HR workflows (onboarding, tickets, documentation)
- Expected to use AI for workforce analytics and reporting
- Must identify opportunities to reduce administrative HR workload through automation
Minimum Requirements:
- 4–7 years of HR experience
- Experience in employee relations, onboarding, or HR operations
- Knowledge of HR systems (HRIS platforms)
- Strong understanding of employment law and compliance basics
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
AI Requirement:
- Experience using AI tools for onboarding, employee communications, or HR reporting
- Ability to automate HR workflows and reduce administrative workload through technology
