This role owns the design of the organization required to deliver the company strategy. It combines enterprise-level strategic thinking with the ability to drive implementation and measurable business impact.

• Lead the enterprise-wide organizational design agenda from strategic diagnosis through target operating model, implementation and measurable effectiveness review.
• Assess the current organization, operating model, interfaces, decision paths, capabilities, capacity and performance to identify structural complexity, duplication, bottlenecks, accountability gaps and opportunities for scale.
• Own the development and evaluation of alternative organization and operating-model options, including design principles, governance, accountabilities, decision rights, leadership layers and collaboration models.
• Translate business strategy, growth priorities and transformation requirements into an integrated organization design covering processes, activities, job profiles, position requirements, capabilities and capacity assumptions.
• Act as a senior sparring partner to the Board, Executive Committee and functional leaders; lead cross-functional design workshops, align stakeholders and prepare decision-ready recommendations for senior management.
• Build the implementation roadmap, decision governance and change architecture; ensure that agreed organizational changes are translated into clear accountabilities, leadership roles, processes and execution requirements.
• Define measurable success criteria and establish a governance rhythm to track organizational effectiveness, productivity, decision speed, capacity release and adoption after implementation.
• Identify and sponsor opportunities to simplify governance, strengthen accountability and enable data-supported, digital and AI-enabled ways of working while preserving clear human ownership for business-critical decisions.

• Completed university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Organizational Psychology, Engineering or a comparable discipline; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience, including substantial experience in enterprise organization design, operating-model transformation, strategy, management consulting or corporate transformation.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing target operating models and organization transformations across multiple functions, business units, geographies or manufacturing and supply-chain environments.
• Demonstrated ability to operate credibly at Executive Committee, Board and senior stakeholder level, with experience influencing complex decisions without relying solely on formal authority.
• Strong analytical and conceptual capability, with the judgment to convert complex organizational, operational and workforce data into clear strategic choices and management-ready recommendations.
• Deep expertise in organization architecture, operating models, governance, decision rights, leadership structures, spans of control, activity analysis, capacity planning and organizational effectiveness.
• Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional transformation programs from ambition and design through business-case approval, implementation, adoption and benefits realization.
• Strong understanding of process architecture, SAP, data, digitalization, automation and AI, including the implications for roles, capabilities, controls and human accountability.
• Outstanding communication, facilitation and negotiation skills; able to create alignment among senior leaders while constructively challenging existing structures and established assumptions.
• High level of executive presence, commercial judgment, discretion, resilience and personal ownership; comfortable making recommendations in ambiguous and politically sensitive environments.
• Ability to build and lead high-performing expert teams, develop internal organization-design capability and establish repeatable standards, methods and governance for future redesign cycles.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills; willingness to work internationally and across functions, sites and regions.
