Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Program Manager for a Contract assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in a Remote Role (Candidate must be located on the East Coast).
This is a contract job description for a Program Manager role created to support the onboarding of employees from a recent acquisition. The PM is an individual contributor - no direct reports - who serves as the central operational coordinator for the entire onboarding effort. They work across HR, IT, and regional business leads, and success depends on strong cross-functional influence rather than authority.

This is a contract job description for a Program Manager role created to support the onboarding of employees from a recent acquisition. The PM is an individual contributor - no direct reports - who serves as the central operational coordinator for the entire onboarding effort. They work across HR, IT, and regional business leads, and success depends on strong cross-functional influence rather than authority.
Responsibilities :
- Onboarding Coordination covers the day-to-day logistics of the program - receiving and sorting new hire data from HR by region and priority, managing travel and on-site support for session hosts, owning the onboarding calendar including reschedules, and handling all hardware needs (loaner coordination and new computer orders in partnership with IT and Procurement).
- Tracking & Reporting covers keeping real-time visibility on who has and hasn't completed onboarding, routing support tickets to the right teams, and building and maintaining dashboards and reports that show completion rates, timelines, and blockers. Regular status updates go directly to the hiring manager.
- Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration covers escalation handling for scheduling issues, partnering with IT on hardware and provisioning timelines, coordinating with Legal and Compliance on NDAs and policy acknowledgments, maintaining the onboarding deck, drafting employee-facing communications (welcome emails, FAQs, reminders), and running a structured feedback loop after each session to continuously improve the program.
- 3-5+ years in program or project management (ideally in integration or operations), complex multi-region logistics coordination
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Miro, Google Workspace and Outlook, strong written and verbal communication
- HRIS and ticketing system familiarity (Workday, ServiceNow), and comfort in ambiguous post-acquisition environments.
- Preferred qualifications include prior M&A or large-scale onboarding experience
- IT asset management or hardware procurement familiaritiy
- Dashboard/reporting tool experience
- Legal/Compliance documentation coordination
- PMP certification.
