Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Irving, TX that is seeking a Data Engineer.

Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions to support business reporting, analytics, and operational needs
* Build and manage data models, transformation processes, and data workflows across multiple systems and platforms
* Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency through validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities
* Support data governance, documentation, and process improvement initiatives
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business objectives
* Assist with the implementation and optimization of data architecture, storage, and processing frameworks
* Support data security, privacy, and compliance requirements across all data assets and workflows
* Provide project updates, technical documentation, and status reporting to stakeholders and leadership

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of experience in a data engineering, data integration, or related technical role required
* Strong SQL skills and experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or similar
* Experience developing and maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and large-scale data environments
* Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and database technologies
* Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern data processing tools preferred
* Understanding of data quality, governance, and change management best practices
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
