Child Caregiver – Lampasas, TX 

A family in Lampasas, TX 76550 is seeking a regular, long-term caregiver to help care for their 12 year old son. The family is looking for a dependable and nurturing individual to assist with daily care and support. 

Schedule:

• Minimum Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (25 hours) up to 50 hours per week. 
• Start Date: ASAP

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• 2 dogs in the home

Responsibilities:

• Help as a tutor and be mentally engaging
• Willing to do feeding both orally and through G-tube
• Help him with at-home therapy homework, such as practicing use of talking device.
• Transport child to and from appointments as needed in a family vehicle (driving would be very rare, if at all)
• Provide support to nurse as needed 

Requirements:

• Prior experience a plus 
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications required. Family is willing to cover the cost of certification prior to employment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation:

• $15-$20 per hour (commensurate with experience)
