We are hiring for an impact-driven community organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We partner with schools and local authorities to provide tailored educational support, empowering vulnerable learners to achieve their full potential.

The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 with a range of additional educational needs, including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Report on lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners within your community.
• Play a vital role in raising the standard of education for young people with SEND.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• An enhanced DBS check (assistance can be provided).
• Right to work in the UK.
